Google services returned to Honor smartphones and tablets

After separating from Huawei, as expected, the independent Honor brand has lifted the burden of US sanctions and is now slowly returning to normal.

Honor representatives confirmed that global versions of smartphones and tablets will be able to use Google’s mobile services in the future – Google Play Store, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube and others.

Honor is currently undergoing Google Play Protect security and compatibility testing to ensure GMS apps are ready to run on the brand’s devices.

However, representatives of Honor did not specify whether early gadgets already launched on the market will receive support from Google.

We will remind, today smartphones Honor 50, Honor 50 Pro and Honor 50 SE debuted, which returned not only Google services, but also Qualcomm processors (only on older models).
