Google, together with the Indian manufacturer Reliance Jio, will release the smartphone Jio Phone Next, which is positioned by developers as “the cheapest in the world.” Sales of new items will start on November 11.
So, Jio Phone Next will receive a Snapdragon 215 processor, released back in 2019. It will also be equipped with a 5.5-inch display and a 13-megapixel main camera. The software basis for the smartphone will be the proprietary Pragati OS shell based on Android.
The phone will have a 2500 mAh rechargeable battery. Jiao Phone Next will be available in two versions: Basic and Advanced; the difference will be in RAM and flash memory sets.
The official price of the novelty has not yet been announced. According to insiders, it will be about $ 60. At the first stage, the “world’s cheapest smartphone” will be sold in India, and in the future, it is possible to enter the international market.
