A hat shop in Nashville, Tennessee, was accused of anti-Semitism after the owners tried to put up for sale patches in the form of a six-pointed star with the inscription “not vaccinated,” according to a local TV channel WZTV.
As reported, the store published a photo of the new product on its social networks; Internet users compared the patch with the Star of David, which was forced to wear Jews during the Holocaust. In the comments to the publication, users wrote that vaccination cannot be compared with the extermination of the Jewish people. It is reported that after a few hours, the account owners deleted the photo.
Residents held a picket in front of the store on Saturday, WKRN reported. The store later apologized on social media.
