How Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will name their daughter

The Dukes of Sussex are preparing for the birth of their second child. The couple are expecting the birth of a girl in early June. The baby will become the younger sister of the prince’s firstborn, two-year-old Archie.

While Harry and Megan are keeping their daughter’s name a closely guarded secret, experts and bookmakers have already named a list of options suitable for the baby.

Over the past 200 years, the royal family has favored an extremely small group of baby names, according to a study by People. The most popular of them are Victoria, Maria and Alexandra.

The British express the hope that Harry and Meghan will respect the traditions of the family and choose a truly royal name for their daughter. However, some media and Internet users adhere to a different version: the Dukes of Sussex will not miss the opportunity to name their daughter in honor of Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana.

We will remind, recently a source close to the family of the dukes said that Megan is very worried about the wave of negativity that hit the couple after Prince Harry’s performance on the Oprah Winfrey show. An insider said that the Duchess may give birth to a baby ahead of schedule due to constant stress.
