In the summer of 2021, Huawei introduced the flagship P50 smartphones with Kirin and Snapdragon processors. The manufacturer was forced to take such a step because of the American sanctions. Apparently, stocks of branded SoCs have run out, and the next Huawei flagships will be equipped exclusively with Qualcomm chips.
For 2022, the manufacturer has planned a presentation of the Huawei Mate 50 smartphones. How many models the family will include is not yet clear, but according to network informant @ RODENT950, they will be equipped with Qualcomm’s flagship processor without support for 5G networks.

We are talking about a single-chip system Snapdragon 898, which will be executed using 4nm technology. The presentation of the mobile chip is expected later this year at the annual Snapdragon Tech Summit, which this time runs from November 30 to December 2.
