Huawei recently introduced a new shell EMUI 12. As it turned out, in parallel, the Chinese manufacturer showed a smartphone that received it out of the box.
We are talking about the global version of the Huawei Nova 8 smartphone, which was presented in Malaysia and several other countries. The device received a body made of glass and metal, as well as a 6.57-inch OLED screen with FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Under the hood, new items have installed a proprietary chip Kirin 820E. By the way, in China, the device comes with a different processor – Kirin 985. The SoC is paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM.
The novelty also received a main camera with 64 MP + 8 MP (wide-angle) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth sensor) sensors, a 32 MP front camera, and a 3600 mAh battery. It charges via the USB-C port and supports 66W charging (60% in 15 minutes). As we wrote earlier, the smartphone works with the preinstalled EMUI 12 shell. It has a new interface, an updated control center with the Device + function, a new MeeTime application, as well as improved performance, security and privacy.
The novelty has already begun to be sold in Malaysia and some other countries for 450 US dollars.
