Together with the Honor V40 Light Luxury Edition smartphone, the Chinese manufacturer today also showed the Honor Pad 7 tablet.
Characteristics
The novelty is the successor to last year’s Honor Pad 6, which debuted at IFA 2020. The device is equipped with an IPS-display with FHD resolution and a diagonal of 10.1 ″. The screen is covered with tempered glass and is TUV Rheinland certified for eye protection. It occupies 80% of the entire front panel.
The eight-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor is responsible for the performance of the novelty. For comparison, the last generation of the tablet used the proprietary Kirin 710A chip. The SoC is paired with 4 GB of RAM and a 64/128 GB drive. It can be expanded with a microSD card up to 512GB. The device is powered by a 5100 mAh battery. Also, the tablet has a 5 MP main camera with autofocus, a 2 MP front camera, a USB-C port, Wi-Fi 2.4 / 5 GHz, Bluetooth 5.1 and a SIM card slot.
Honor Pad 7 comes with Android 10 operating system and Magic UI 4.0 proprietary shell. It has been specially optimized for the big screen. For example, the tablet supports multi-window and split screen.
