In France, a man opened fire on police officers

A man in the French city of Saint-Etienne opened fire on police officers, France Bleu radio station reports.

On Saturday, August 7, law enforcement officers received a message about two alleged violators. However, the exact reason for calling the police is not specified. Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers found two men sitting in a car. One of them was arrested immediately, and the other tried to escape.

The man hid in the yard of one of the houses behind a bush and opened fire on the guards. The police were not injured, but the man was seriously wounded in the stomach and leg. He was handcuffed, and then an ambulance was called.
