The current action of “yellow vests” in France has become the smallest of all, according to BFMTV, citing the French Interior Ministry.
Another, 29th in a row, the action of “yellow vests” was held in France on Saturday. The organizers could not determine the location of the March. Thus, in Paris, the authorities banned the demonstration on the Champs Elysees due to the fact that last time the activists caused damage to the main Avenue of the city.
The French interior Ministry informed that about 9,5 thousand people, including 1,5 thousand people in the capital, took part in the actions across the country.
At the same time, according to the organizers of the demonstrations, almost 24 thousand people took to the streets of the cities. It should be noted that the data of “yellow vests” often differ from the official statistics of the Interior Ministry.
For comparison, last Saturday around 12.5 thousand people protested across the country, in Paris – 2.1 thousand.
The actions were not without incidents. So, in Toulouse, where about a thousand activists took part in March, law enforcement officers dispersed the crowd of demonstrators with water cannons and tear gas.
