Israeli security forces have eliminated a terrorist who shot two people in the center of Tel Aviv, the Jerusalem Post newspaper reports, citing the General Security Service of Israel.

The terrorist attack took place the night before on Dizengoff Street, famous for numerous restaurants and bars. Two people were killed, 12 were injured, and four of them are in extremely serious condition.

This morning, a terrorist was tracked down in the Tel Aviv suburb of Jaffa, and he was eliminated in a shootout. About a thousand policemen participated in the search, assisted by IDF soldiers. According to the General Security Service, the terrorist was a Palestinian who lived in the West Bank of the Jordan River.
