Two police officers were injured in a knife attack in London, the metropolitan police said in a statement.
On Friday evening, the attack was carried out when a man approached two police officers and a 61-year-old man standing with them in the Noel Park Road area and injured them.
The suspect was arrested at the scene, and two other people were subsequently arrested as part of the investigation. All three remain in custody, the police said. The motive of the crime is being established; it is not considered to be related to terrorism at this stage.
Later, the police announced on Twitter that the police officers injured in the incident were discharged from the hospital, and a 61-year-old man who was stabbed was examined by doctors and is in the hospital without a threat to life.
