Today, January 15, it became known that the tracks of Los Angeles trains are covered with empty boxes. So, thieves rob freight trains, making whole raids.

Empty boxes are visible on part of the Union Pacific railroad tracks in downtown Los Angeles. According to media reports, the attackers have been raiding for months.

So, they take possession of parcels from retailers, including Amazon, REI and others, the CBSLA publication reported. The remaining piles of trash include items that the thieves obviously didn’t consider valuable enough to take away.

Police said the railroad is concerned about an increase in the number of cargo thefts in California.
