The U.S. Federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) assessed the risk of miscarriage during vaccination against coronavirus. They explained that the vaccination does not affect the termination of pregnancy.

“The CDC conducted a new analysis of data on the safety of the vaccine for pregnant women in the early stages and did not find any increase in the risk of miscarriage in about 2.5 thousand women who received the mRNA vaccine against coronavirus before the 20th week of pregnancy,” the statement says.

The study was conducted in relation to Pfizer and Moderna drugs. According to its results, the probability of miscarriage in vaccinated patients was about 13 percent, which fits into the statistical norm from 11 to 16 percent.
