The US Emergency Management Agency FEMA has created a website to debunk fakes and misinformation on COVID-19.
Currently, the page contains only five myths.
Therefore, the Agency refutes rumors that the United States has declared a nationwide quarantine and that troops have been deployed to fight the virus. Another rumor is that in connection with COVID-19, you need to stock up on as many products as possible.
It is also noted that Congress has not adopted the law on payments to taxpayers for 1 thousand dollars. The Department warned against contacts with unscrupulous people offering assistance in receiving payments from the state.
Another fake is that only people over 60 are at risk. In fact, anyone can be infected with the virus, the Agency noted.
