US President Joe Biden has extended the state of emergency in the country connected with the coronavirus pandemic, the White House said in a statement released on Wednesday.
“The COVID-19 pandemic continues to pose a significant threat to the health of citizens and the security of the country. In this regard, the national emergency declared on March 13, 2020, and entered into force on March 1, 2020, should continue after March 1, 2021… I am extending the national emergency regime,” the document signed by Biden reads.
