The amount of voluntary donations to the family of cameraman Halyna Hutchins, who died in an accident on the set of the film Rust in the United States, exceeded $175 thousand on Sunday. This is evidenced by the data of the electronic platform on which the association of cinematographers conducts fundraising.

More than 2.2 thousand people responded to the call to help Hutchins’ family and friends. The size of individual donations reaches up to several thousand dollars.

The farewell ceremony with Hutchins took place on Saturday in one of the central squares of Albuquerque (New Mexico). Dozens of people came to say goodbye to the operator.
