Among them are items belonging to Eric Clapton, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Kurt Cobain, Bob Marley, and others.

Items and musical instruments belonging to world-famous performers will be sold at Julien’s Auctions in New York on November 19 and 20. In total, more than 900 lots were put up for auction.

“Julien’s Auctions is proud to present Icons & Idols: Rock ‘N’ Roll, the annual event of the season in the world of music,” reads a message posted on the auction house’s website. Lots once belonged to such artists as Eric Clapton, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Kurt Cobain, Bob Marley and others. There are also items from bands such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, and Queen.

The organizers call the main lot an acoustic guitar, which Clapton played during the debut performance of the band Derek and The Dominos in 1970. This musical instrument is estimated at $300-500 thousand. The auction house expects to sell the lyrics of the Kashmir song by Led Zeppelin for $200-400 thousand.
