The Dow Jones industrial index rose 91.12 points (0.28%) to 33,222.88 points. The S&P 500 index gained 63.15 points (1.49%), to the level of 4,288.65 points. The NASDAQ electronic exchange index rose by 426.8 points (3.27%) to 13,464.29 points.

Earlier, U.S. President Joe Biden announced the introduction of new sanctions against Russia, which affected the Sberbank and VTB, among others. In the morning, in the first minutes after the opening, the drop in the indices ranged from 2 to 2.5%.
