Information has appeared on the network more than once that Google is working on a smartwatch Pixel Watch, but it seems that there is no need to wait for a new product in the near future.
According to insider Max Weinbach, Google has postponed the release of the device. Weinbach did not name the exact reason for the transfer but suggested that the problem was in the supply of chipsets. By the way, the delayed release of the Pixel Watch does not mean that the watch will not be shown at the presentation of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro on October 19. It is likely that Google can share some information about the new product at the event, and a full announcement will take place next year.
Pixel Watch was likely delayed btw
Like 6 months ago I was told it was coming but could be delayed based on chip availability. I'm assuming it's getting delayed because of chips. Could be announced next week with later release, could be announced next year. Who knows.
