Details about Apple’s new compact tablet continue to appear online. This time, Ross Young, an insider and head of Display Supply Chain Consultants, shared the information.
According to Young, iPad mini 6 will receive an increased screen size from 7.9 inches to 8.3 inches. The company will do this by reducing the thickness of the frames. Also, the device will lose the Home button. As for the Touch ID fingerprint scanner, it should be installed on the side. By the way, Young said earlier that you shouldn’t wait for the new Mini LED screen. Most likely it will be a regular LCD panel.
Grew from 7.9" due to narrower bezels and removal of Home button.

Recall that the iPad mini 6 is codenamed J310. The device will be designed in the style of iPad Air and will be powered by the new eight-core Apple A15 Bionic processor. Also, the gadget will be able to boast of a USB-C charging port instead of Lightning, connectors for connecting branded accessories and support for the Apple Pencil stylus. According to rumors, the announcement of the device should take place this fall.
