iPhone 13 Pro beats iPhone 12 Pro in GPU test in Geekbench

Apple hasn’t even opened up pre-orders for the iPhone 13 family yet, and the Pro version has already been tested in Geekbench.

iPhone 13 Pro is equipped with a 5nm 6-core Apple A15 Bionic processor. It includes a 5-core video chip, which turned out to be much more powerful than the previous generation GPU. The result in Geekbench was 14,216 points. For comparison, the iPhone 12 Pro, equipped with the Apple A14 Bionic SoC, scores about 9100 points in this test.

At the presentation, Apple named the new 5-core GPU the world’s fastest chip and promised a 50 percent increase over any single-chip system in the world in terms of graphics. An identical video accelerator is used in the iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPad mini 6, while the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini have got a 4-core GPU.
