Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich developed symptoms similar to signs of poisoning after traveling to Ukraine and participating in the organization of negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv. This is with reference to sources close to the situation, The Wall Street Journal reports.

According to the publication, Abramovich and two members of the negotiating group from Ukraine had redness of the eyes, tear, as well as peeling of the skin on the face and hands. Currently, their condition has improved; there is no threat to their lives, the interlocutors of the newspaper claim.

It is also known that one of the victims could be a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Rustem Umerov.

Earlier, the Times revealed information about a certain note from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, given by Roman Abramovich to Russian leader Vladimir Putin. According to the newspaper, after the meeting in Kyiv, the businessman flew to Moscow to hand over a handwritten note outlining Ukraine’s position on the terms of the peace agreement.
