Kit Harington talks about fatherhood for the first time

In February of this year, Game of Thrones stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie became parents for the first time – the couple had a son. The couple does not talk about their personal life (Kit and Rose still have not even told what name they gave to their first child) and leads a rather closed lifestyle. However, the other day the 34-year-old actor opened up in an interview with Access Hollywood and spoke about fatherhood for the first time.

He admitted that he had no idea what it was until he became a father himself.

Everyone said: “Look, what you have to go through is very significant. And you will never know it until you go through it yourself,” he said.

According to the actor, he enjoys the role of his father.

Every day I wake up and take care of this little man, and now we are part of a whole. I think what surprises me the most about fatherhood is that you are now one, the three of you, and you need to find a whole new dynamic. Every day I see how it grows and changes. How does it change you? This is really wonderful, Keith said.

Talking about his son, the actor even jokingly compared raising a baby with caring for a pet.

In the year before my son was born, I had a puppy, and the difference was not that great. I can say it was great practice, he joked.

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie met on the set of Game of Thrones in 2012. In their relationship, not everything was smooth: the couple broke up for a while, but then got back together, and in 2018 Keith and Rose tied the knot.
