Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James twisted his right leg early in the second quarter of an NBA regular-season game against the Atlanta Hawks.
LeBron first stayed in the game and realised a three-point shot in the next attack but later was forced to leave the site and go to the locker room. Leaving the landing, James threw a chair in the way out of anger. The severity of James’ injury will be determined by further medical examination.
The Lakers (28-13) have won their last four regular-season games. The Los Angeles club has been forced to do without the help of heavy forward Anthony Davis for over a month, as he continues to recover from injuries to his calf and Achilles tendon.
