LGBT flags on churches in the United States were replaced with Confederate banners

The police of the city of Blacksburg in the U.S. state of Virginia is investigating an incident with an LGBT flag hanging on a church: unknown people stole the banner and hung the flags of the Confederate Southern States on the building — in the modern USA, they are considered a symbol of racial oppression and hatred. The local channel WDBJ7 reports the incident.

It is reported that the incident with the loss of the flag from the Methodist church occurred for the second time in the last 10 days. Now the banner of sexual and racial minorities is again hanging at the entrance to the religious institution, but this time behind the window glass.

The police and the local priest called on those responsible for the theft of the flag to confess to what they had done and apologize.
