The British Foreign Minister confirmed her readiness to “increase the price” for Russia if it takes further aggressive actions against Ukraine.
British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said last Sunday that Russia’s statements about the absence of plans to invade Ukraine are false. The UK and its allies are determined to “increase the price” for Moscow if it takes further aggressive steps.
Referring to The Washington Post’s tweet about the United States’ assessment of Russia’s plans, Truss said that the danger of the Kremlin’s attempts to undermine Ukraine and threaten it is obvious.
“Russia’s actions show that its statements about the absence of invasion plans are false,” Truss said. “We and our allies are united in supporting Ukraine and our determination to raise the price for Russia if it takes further action (against Ukraine).”
