Shanghai-based Pantuo Aviation has unveiled the PANTALA Concept H, a high-speed flying taxi project of the future.
Pantuo Aviation has unveiled the PANTALA Concept H flying car. According to the developers, the model will be fully electric with an impressive range of 250 km. At the same time, the flying car will reach a speed of more than 300 km/h. The cabin is designed for 5 people.
The aircraft uses lithium-ion batteries and instead of open propellers is equipped with 22 large-diameter ducted electric fans. Development of a fully functional model will start in 2022, with launch planned for 2027.
The PANTALA Concept H is very similar to the eVTOL aircraft. Recall that eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing) is an electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft. It can also hang in one place. This technology has emerged from advances in electric motors and the growing demand for new vehicles for urban air mobility.
