Mayors of the two cities called on Trump to move their rallies

Mayors of two cities in Wisconsin asked US President Donald Trump to postpone his planned rallies due to the situation with the coronavirus, writes Bloomberg.

Events in support of the current head of state in the cities of Green Bay and La Crosse are scheduled for Saturday.

The authorities of these cities are not happy with this idea, as the rally, according to them, can worsen the difficult epidemiological situation.

“It is incredibly unwise and dangerous to identify with an event like this, and I would strongly recommend that he not do so,” Green Bay mayor Eric Heinrich said.

Echoing the mayor of the city of La Crosse, Tim Kabat. He stressed that an increase in hospital admissions in the city is “the last thing we need right now.”

He called on the US President to postpone the rally for two weeks.
