Taiwanese chip maker MediaTek has announced its new SoC – the Kompanio 1300T.
The novelty is a special version of MediaTek Dimensity 1200 for laptops and tablets. The SoC is built on TSMC’s 6nm process technology. It received the Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 cores, the Mali-G77 MC9 graphics accelerator, and a built-in 5G modem that works in sub-6 networks. The processor supports two displays at 1080p or one screen at 1440p with a frequency of 120 Hz and HDR10 +, a camera up to 108 MP, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
According to MediaTek, devices based on the Kompanio 1300T will hit the market in August-September. By the way, according to the insider Digital Cat Station, the Honor V7 Pro tablet will be one of the first.
