An earthquake of magnitude 7.1 occurred in southern Mexico, according to the National Seismological Service.
According to seismologists, the quake epicenter was located 12 kilometers southeast Oaxaca area.
The shocks in the city felt like mild. They began 30 seconds after the seismic alarm siren, residents of the evacuated buildings are not yet allowed to return inside.
