Microsoft has officially announced the termination of supplies to Russia, as well as the suspension of sales of goods and services to Russian users. 

The company announced that it was stopping deliveries in support of US, EU and UK sanctions:

“Today we announce that we are suspending all new sales of Microsoft products and services in Russia. In addition, we are closely coordinating and working in step with the governments of the United States, the European Union and the United Kingdom, and we are terminating many aspects of our business in Russia in accordance with government sanctions decisions.”

The company explained that it will continue to protect the cybersecurity of Ukraine, as well as assist in the work of non-governmental organizations helping refugees.

Earlier today it became known that Google has suspended the sale of contextual advertising in Russia. The ban applies to search, YouTube and partner networks.
