Certified devices for Microsoft Flight Simulator have been announced. It was published on the publisher’s website.
The list includes four sets of devices – two joysticks and two steering wheels. The first, Turtle Beach VelocityOne Flight, is a 180-degree steering wheel. It is equipped with navigation controls, engine control levers and a panel with status indicators for some instruments and systems. The device will go on sale in the fall of 2021, its price has not been specified.
The second, the Honeycomb Alpha Flight Controls XPC, is also a 180-degree steering wheel. According to Microsoft representatives, it was developed with the participation of civilian pilots and aircraft engineers. The device is equipped with 13 buttons and switches to which you can assign any controls, as well as other options necessary to control the aircraft. The same manufacturer will soon introduce another certified device for MFS in the form factor of a joystick. The steering wheel will go on sale in early 2022.
The latest set is the Thrustmaster T.Flight Full Kit X, which consists of a joystick, motor control stick, pedals and 14 programmable buttons. It will be priced at $ 200 in the US, with pedals and joysticks available separately. Pre-order is already open on the official website of the manufacturer, and deliveries will begin on October 19.
