American CDC Center: most of those infected with the omicron strain in the United States have been vaccinated.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) stated that the majority of citizens infected with the omicron strain of coronavirus were fully vaccinated. This is reported by Reuters.
The CDC noted that out of 43 cases of infection with the new strain, 34 people were fully vaccinated against COVID-19. It is clarified that 14 of them have already managed to be revaccinated.
The CDC also added that most of those infected had only mild symptoms, such as cough, nasal congestion, and fatigue. Nausea, vomiting, shortness of breath, diarrhea, loss of taste or smell were observed much less often in infected people.
