US Secretary of the Navy Richard Spencer will temporarily take the post of head of the Pentagon, reports the Military Times, citing a representative of the US Defense Department.
It is noted that the main applicant for this position is Mark Esper, but according to the law, while his candidacy is considered in the Senate, he can not head the Department. The new head of the Pentagon should be appointed before the end of July, the newspaper writes.
