NATO permanent representatives decided to use the defense plan, which provides for the deployment of reaction forces in the alliance countries to protect allies, said Secretary General of the organization Jens Stoltenberg.

“We discussed the current situation, the permanent representatives, after receiving the recommendations of military advisers, agreed to use our defense plan, which provides for the deployment of forces in the alliance countries during the crisis, including reaction forces,” he said.

At the same time, Stoltenberg said that there are no NATO forces in Ukraine and there are no plans to deploy them on this territory.
