NBA Commissioner Adam Silver admitted that the league is considering a scenario that the resumption of the season may not take place or the championship may be interrupted again.
According to him, this is possible if the outbreak of the coronavirus in Orlando, where the matches will be held, takes on a serious scale.
“If the spread of coronavirus in our“ game bubble ”takes on a serious scale, this could lead to cancellation,” Clutch Points quotes Silver.
Adam Silver also noted that the League is learning to live with coronavirus. Recall, it became known that the NBA has 16 more tests for coronavirus with a positive result. The 2019/20120 season is expected to resume July 30 in Orlando. All matches will be held in the empty stands.
