Unlike ASUS and MSI, which neglect RAM, Gigabyte is preparing to offer its AORUS kits for Intel 600 series motherboards. In addition, the Chinese company Asgard is going to release its own AERIS kits. Both models have already appeared in the photo.
Gigabyte will announce a set of two DDR5 modules under the AORUS brand for the foreseeable future. Low-profile strips are devoid of RGB lighting – they are perfect for the flagship AORUS Z690 XTREME motherboard, which has a special shroud for RAM modules.
The kit in question is overclocked to 5200 MT/s and offers a total of 32 GB (2×16 GB). As indicated on the packaging, the model supports Intel XMP 3.0 profiles available on Intel Z690 boards. The timings, unfortunately, have not been reported.
The Chinese company Asgard will start accepting pre-orders for new DDR5 AERIS kits in the foreseeable future. Unlike the AORUS product, it has RGB backlighting, but the frequency is 4800 MT / s (timings – 40-40-40-77). This kit will not be the fastest new generation memory, but the price is relatively low. Acceptance of pre-orders starts on November 11 at a discounted price of $ 313. Further, the standard price will be $ 345.
