Samsung will release 52 smartphone models in 2022. This is reported by the publication The Elec.

The journalists of the publication made such a conclusion after studying the delivery plan, which was at the disposal of the editorial office. It follows from it that 52 new smartphones are planned to be released in 2022 — in total, the company intends to ship 67 million units to the market. The New Year will begin for the Korean corporation with the release of the flagship Galaxy S22 series. So, the number of deliveries of the base model Galaxy S22 will be 14 million, Galaxy S22+ – 8 million, Galaxy S22 Ultra – 11 million units.

It follows from the disclosed report that the company also intends to put new folding devices on the market: 2.9 million units of Galaxy Z Fold 4, 6.9 million units of Galaxy Z Flip 4. In addition, Samsung will additionally produce 4 million units of Galaxy Z Fold 3 and 9 million units of Galaxy Z Flip 3 released earlier.

One way or another, a large share of supplies will fall on compromise smartphones designed for emerging markets. The Galaxy A53, A13 and A33 models will account for 23 percent of shipments.
