Novak Djokovic sensationally lost in the third round of Masters in Monte Carlo

The ATP#1, Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic failed to make it to the quarterfinals of Masters in Monte Carlo. In the third round match, he sensationally lost to Great Britain’s representative, Daniel Evans, with a score of 4: 6, 5: 7. The duration of the confrontation was 2 hours 6 minutes.

Djokovic filed three times right through, made 3 double faults and converted 3 out of 10 breakpoints. On account of his rival, occupying the 33rd line in the ATP rankings, 1 ace, no double faults and 5 breaks.

For reaching the semifinals, Evans will compete with the Belgian David Goffin (11), who defeated the German Alexander Zverev (5) with a score of 6: 4, 7: 6 (9: 7).

The prize fund of the Masters in Monte Carlo is more than € 2 million. The current winner is the Italian Fabio Fognini.
