The company takes possible measures to assist colleagues in Ukraine and their family members.
The American company Omnicom Group, engaged in marketing communications and advertising, announced the termination of its activities in Russia. This is stated in a statement posted on the company’s website on Thursday.
“We can confirm that Omnicom is withdrawing from Russia and cooperating with local partners in order to get rid of all its investment positions,” the statement says.
It notes that the company is making efforts to “ensure the future of Russian colleagues, some of whom have been working at Omnicom for decades,” and is also taking all possible measures to provide the necessary assistance to “more than 200 of its colleagues” in Ukraine and their family members.
The company also expressed hope for the establishment of peace in Ukraine soon.
