OnePlus has already updated many of its smartphones to Android 11 and now, finally, the turn came to the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T models.

The firmware is still in beta. The developers have added all the main functions of Android 11 to the software, as well as the proprietary OxygenOS 11 shell with many changes. For example, OnePlus has updated the smartphone interface. It is now optimized for one-handed operation and is similar to Samsung’s One UI. In addition, the software added updated app shortcuts, Ambient Display mode with different clock widgets and Canvas function, two new fonts, animation, Zen Mode 2.0 with three themes and the ability to invite friends or family to digital detox together and much more.

Anyone can already install OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 1 for OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T, but we do not recommend doing this. Better to wait for a stable release. It should be out before the end of the summer.
