In recent years, tablets have lost their former popularity, and their sales are falling lower and lower. Despite this, a number of Chinese manufacturers are planning to enter the tablet market this year, including OPPO and Vivo.
According to Chinese insider Digital Chat Station, the companies have only three models in development for two. Under the Vivo brand, two tablets are being prepared at once, while OPPO has one.
Both manufacturers are expected to release a special version of their operating systems designed for tablets. Looks like Vivo will have OriginOS, while OPPO tablets will have ColorOS.
Recall that their first tablets are also being prepared by Realme and OnePlus. Both are close to OPPO, and OnePlus recently became its sub-brand, so it’s understandable why OPPO only has one model. The OnePus tablet will also run ColorOS in China.
