Last month, OPPO unveiled the A16 smartphone, and now, without too much hype, announced its improved version – OPPO A16s.
In fact, this is not a new model, but a small upgrade of the OPPO A16. The main difference between the new items is the presence of an NFC module for contactless payment for purchases.
The rest of the specs are the same: you get a MediaTek Helio G35 processor, a 6.52-inch HD + display, and a capacious 5,000mAh battery. Powered by a smartphone running ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11.
The front camera is 8 megapixel, and the main one includes a 13 megapixel main sensor and two additional 2 megapixels for macro photography and monochrome shots.
There is also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB-C port.
OPPO A16s is already available in the Netherlands in Pearl Blue and Crystal Black colors. For the version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM, they ask for € 149.
