PNY has announced the solid-state drives LX2030 and LX3030, which feature high reliability. Deliveries of new products have already begun, but the price has not been disclosed.

The devices are made in the M.2 2280 format with dimensions of 22 × 80 mm (PCIe 3.0 x4 interface). A Phison controller with LifeXtension technology is used. The type of flash memory used is not reported.

The LX2030 series features a 2TB drive. The declared information read speed reaches 3200 MB/s, the write speed is 1000 MB/s.

The LX3030 family includes 1 TB and 2 TB models. They also have a maximum read speed of 3200 MB/s, and the write speed reaches 2400 MB/s.

The products have a large resource, which makes them well suited for mining Chia cryptocurrency. Recall that mining Chia, unlike Bitcoin and Ethereum, is based on the process of storing information, and therefore reliable devices are needed to mine this cryptocurrency.

The LX2030 model has a TBW (guaranteed data recording volume) up to 10,000 TB. The LX3030 1TB and 2TB drives have TBW ratings of up to 27,000 and 54,000TB respectively.
