Popular Xiaomi smartphones will receive MIUI 12.5 Enhanced in October

Xiaomi introduced MIUI 12.5 Enhanced firmware in early August along with the flagship Mix 4. The first wave of updates swept about a dozen models based on Snapdragon 870, Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 888+ chips. Now the manufacturer has published a list of smartphones that will receive the stable MIUI 12.5 Enhanced in the second phase.

The second batch will include seven devices of the mid-budget and budgetary levels. Chinese users will be the first to receive the update. As part of the next phase, Xiaomi will update the following models:

  • Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth
  • Redmi Note 10 5G
  • Redmi Note 10 Pro
  • Redmi Note 9 4G / 5G
  • Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G
  • Redmi note 8

The firmware will be built on the basis of the Android 11 operating system. The second stage of the update distribution is scheduled for October 8th.
