At Comic-Con, a small trailer for the thirteenth season of Doctor Who was presented, confirming that the show will begin airing this year – the exact date of the premiere has not been announced.
In the lead role, viewers will again see Jodie Whittaker, who, according to rumors, will leave Doctor Who in one of the special episodes next year. In the meantime, as the authors promise, her heroine will have the biggest adventure.
The Doctor will be accompanied by Mandip Gill as Yasmin Kahn and a new companion – the hero of John Bishop named Dan. The video also features Jacob Anderson (Game of Thrones) as Winder.
At the same time, the executive producer of the show, Chris Chibnell, noted that filming the show, for obvious reasons, was more difficult than usual, so the viewers are waiting for 8, not 11 episodes. But all the other ingredients of the show, he assures, will be in place.
