With just over a month left before the release of Resident Evil Village, Capcom has decided to prepare PC gamers by publishing the system requirements.

The minimum and recommended system requirements for the new Resident Evil have proven to be quite popular. To play with minimum settings at 1080p and 60 FPS, an Intel Core i5-7500 and a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, as well as 8 gigabytes of RAM, are enough. Capcom recommends running the game on a machine with an Intel Core i7-8700, GeForce GTX 1070 and 16 GB of “RAM”. Both require Windows 10 64-bit and DirectX 12 support.

Ray tracing requires NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, or better cards.

  • Recall that Resident Evil 8 will be released on May 7 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, as well as PC (Steam). Pre-orders have already started.
