Leicester City footballer Ricardo Pereira will miss the FA Cup quarter-finals against Manchester United due to injury, the Foxes’ official website reported.
Leicester vs Manchester United will be held in Leicester on Sunday 21 March. Pereira was injured on March 14 in the national championship meeting with Sheffield United (5-0). The Portuguese started the match in the starting lineup but was substituted after the first half.
As noted, Ricardo Pereira will definitely miss the match with Manchester United. There is no complete confidence that he will be able to return to service for the resumption of the season in April after the break for international matches.
It is also reported that Fox’s Belgian midfielder Dennis Prat, who has not entered the field since early January, has returned to the general group and may help the team with the Mancunians. Leicester and England midfielder James Maddison is close to making a comeback in the coming weeks. In contrast, striker Harvey Barnes, who underwent knee surgery two weeks ago, has started working out at the gym.
