Iranian President Hassan Rouhani did not rule out the possibility of negotiations with the United States if Washington removes sanctions from Tehran.

“At any time, as they stop oppressing the Iranian nation, abandon their sanctions and are committed to their obligations, they could return to the negotiating table, which they themselves left,” he noted.

Earlier, the American leader Donald Trump said that if Iran intends to negotiate with the United States, Washington will respond positively to such a proposal.
For his part, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif noted that Tehran does not want war, and expressed confidence that the armed conflict with the United States will be avoided.
