Following the smart watch Galaxy Watch 4, detailed characteristics of the new Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 TWS headphones have leaked to the network.
The information was shared by an insider under the nickname Snoopy. So, the headphones will receive a Bluetooth 5.2 module. In comparison, the Galaxy Buds + and Galaxy Buds Pro are both Bluetooth 5.0. The novelty will support codecs SBC, AAC, SSC, as well as active noise cancellation (ANC) and “transparency” mode. Drivers with an 11 mm woofer and a 6.3 mm tweeter will be responsible for the sound in the device. According to the leak, Galaxy Buds 2 with ANC will last up to 5 hours and up to 8 hours without it. The charging case will increase this figure to 13 and 20 hours, respectively. It will charge via the USB-C port or using Qi wireless technology.

The earbuds will receive IPX7 water protection and will cost in the region of $150. By the way, the novelty will hit the market in four colors: black, green, purple and white.
Galaxy Buds 2 will be unveiled on August 11th. The event will also showcase the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 foldable smartphones and the Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch.
